During Museum Month (in February, if you go get a special pass at Macy's several museums in San Diego are half price for you and up to 5 friends!), I went to Birch Aquarium. I had been warned that it is not as nice as the Academy of Sciences Steinhart Aquarium in SF, but I was pleasantly surprised, and I really enjoyed my outing.
