Safari Park

I've been here maybe 6 times since I moved to San Diego, but for whatever reason, I didn't take pictures most of those times. In June, however, I went with some friends, and here's what I've got.

Garden Festival at the Zoo

I know I already posted about the zoo, but I went back, for the Garden Festival. They have special events every once in awhile; it keeps people coming. There were booths, and a scavenger hunt (which was actually pretty cool), and the orchid greenhouse was open, though it is usually only open on third Fridays. Here are my pictures from that day:

Also while I was there, I went down a path that I usually don't go down, because I had decided awhile ago that the animals along that path were not very interesting. But today, just to be different, I went down that path and I saw something really fun! Here it is:

My Favorite: The San Diego Zoo

I love going to the zoo! I went over 15 times in the first 6 months I was here. I love the animals, the shows and presentations, the plants, and the special events! Sometimes I just bring a book, sit by the gorillas, and read. Here are some of the highlights of my zoo visits:
